Contextualised Information, an automated archive of online rumors2017

This project is a research about online journalism, rumors spreading and fake informations through new media and Internet. With the internet, a lot of fake information are now spread every seconds. The analysis of those rumors make us understand that for the majority, they are based on assumptions, predjudices and mental models. How can we save and encapsulate fake information from the web as they are viral and then demonstrate that they are often quickly modified? How can we trace them? How can we raise the awareness of people about this topic? This project was part of my master graduation and received the mention of excellence from the jury.

Objets Lourds: exhibition catalogue2017

Catalogue for the exhibition Objets Lourds (March 2014). This exhibition questions the relation and confrontation between the notion of heaviness and lightness, while proposing a different approach to the traditional white cube space with displaying artworks suspended by air balloons. The catalogue was designed to match the non-linearity of the exhibition. The catalogue features reproductions (A3) of the 25 posters which are not bundled and can thus be reorganized or hang on the wall. Moreover, the list of the participants is showed regarding the floor plan. Each catalogue although has a different floor where the posters have always a different place in the space. This piece of the catalogue was coded (Processing) in order to generate this randomness.

Concept for an exhibition questioning the heaviness2017

Objets Lourds is an exhibition which took place in the HEAR Art School for three days in March 2014. It featured the visual proposals and posters of 25 students who contributed to the project and worked on the notion of heaviness. The main idea of this proposal was to question the concept of heaviness as opposed to lightness, while experimenting with new ways of displaying artworks. The posters were indeed suspended to air balloons. This offered a semantic and physical ambivalence between the heaviness of the posters (the representation but also the physical quality of the paper) and the lightness of the balloons. This original exhibition plan also led to re-consider the exhibition space itself. Because of the constant moving artworks, their order was always random. Moreover, this constant move was also inciting the visitors to touch the artworks and move around with them. This project is a collaboration with Estelle Bizet.
